Yeah, but he didn't see it. He played something else and he lost. He must have regretted it every day of his life. I know I would have. As a matter of fact I do regret it, and I wasn't even born yet.

This is one of my fav Bond pictures and OHMSS is one of the bests in the series. If there is anything the picture lacked it would be the hypnotics by Blofeld (Telly Savalas), the main Bond star (George Lazenby), and the ending (Shouldn't have played the Bond theme during the credits. Bond's wife just died!). Other then that, felt the film's greatness remeniscent to the days of "Goldfinger". Lazenby (Or his agent) was smart to not take the role of 007 in "Diamonds Are Forever".

I enjoyed this film alot to I agree the hypnotics scene was...def. not in place in this film I don't think it would've really even worked well with Conery either. Lazenby was good...kinda. Playing the role he was pretty bland but his fight scenes weren't that bad,not the BEST but..not the worst either,Also the Ski scenes are some of the best in the series,Next to maybe The Spy Who Loved me and For Your Eyes Only,

I was also disappointed when the credits came on screen and the 007 music plays. Imo that was kinda like..."OK Bond's wife is dead so who cares? Diamonds Are Forever is gonna be big the next big hit..."

I...Kinda was and kind of wasn't. Because I had known what was going to happen next, the dreadful DAF, film I was disappointed but at the same time I thought to myself if I had seen this in '69 at the theaters I would've been excited because I wouldn't know WHAT was gonna happen next. But I agree DAF was a horrible bond and really didn't....capitalize on what this one accomplished.
