"I decided then I wanted to be dead" from Harold and Maude
Favorite Scene From A Movie
The scene in "The Last Picture Show" where Ben Johnson as Sam the Lion is telling Timothy Bottoms as Sonny about how he used to bring a certain girl up to this swimming hole and how they would go skinny-dipping and how wonderful life really is even though you may not know it at the time. Beautiful scene and beautiful monologue by Johnson. And the scene in "Hud" where Lon (Brandon De Wilde) takes his grandfather (Melvyn Douglas) to the movies with him and how tears come into the grandfathers eyes when they sing along to the Texas state song. 2 absolutely beautiful and heartbreaking scenes.
