The first 30 minutes or so of "2001 A Space Odyssey" plus the overall build-up to the ending. The Resturant Shooting scene in "The Godfather" and mostly the baptism scene where you get a glimpse of all the assasanations. I could go on...

So yea a little while ago I made a similar list but looking back on it I don't like it very much anymore as ive been watching more movies then ever recentely, anyway ive decided to make an updated list of the best films ive seen. Ive seen films from the 20's onwards, i've still gotta see those before then and will get to it but as of now these are the best films ive seen sorted from oldest to newest.
Why from oldest to newest?, well it's way to hard to make a logical order but eventhough it was hard I managed to figure out the exact 100 films that I consider the best atleast from what ive seen. So here's part one with the best films from 1920-1979, if ive missed any please let me know as I might need to see them or I might simply dissagree with there status and feel free to argue if you want haha. So part 2 will be coming soon and it will all add up to 100 films and all of which are all some of the films I either gave 90 or 100% too and the one's that amazed me the most. This took alot of work so i'd appreciate some in-depth comments as opposed to "Great blog"....
All of the films on this list are one's that ive seen atleast within the last year , alot of the films ive thought were great have been left out if I feel it's been too long since ive seen them to really determine wheter they still are among the best ive seen. So this is all from recent memory...
Part 1 20-79...54 films, Part 2 80-2000's coming soon...
