I saw this movie in 3D, in a pretty good theater, and it was impressive at first, but as it wore on, I began to notice the tremendous flaws... poorly written, cardboard villains, and all that environmental, neo-pagan, tree-hugger crap. Yeah, I'm still blown away by the special effects when considering the time it was made. This is one of my all-time favorite movies and fueled my love (and horrifying fascination) for dinosaurs at an early age. It's movie magic by Spielberg. Good review! 1 Replies | Report Abuse

But sadly, with regard to a possible sequel, I heard that the movie is still not yet making money, and being able to cover its production costs. Also, it is likely Jerry Bruckheimer could leave Disney at this point due to his recent boxoffice failure. If he leaves, I don't know if he will make another PoP. Yeah, I agree with what you've said here. I really enjoyed the dream within a dream process. But, at times, it only felt like a process. I was really yearning for something more bizarre due to dream material (i.e. Tim Burtonesque) but Nolan does a great job with the procedure. Great review! 1 Replies | Report Abuse

Nice review Pandy. Yes it was a bit to neat,without much approaching nightmarish effects.They could have done more with that, especially related to the Mal character.But overall the concept was still so intriguing and the pacing so well done,that it made for an exciting experience. 1 Replies | Report Abuse

Great review! Tarantino hasn't yet made a bad movie, this is no exception - Sam Jackson, Keaton, De Niro and Bridget Fonda were all excellent. PS I love the fact that this movie & Out of Sight are related, based on the fact that Michael Keaton shows up in Out of Sight playing the same character and talking about what happened in Jackie Brown. 1 Replies | Report Abuse
