I've seen it too many times to get too excited... it is a real classic though! Good review! :-) Thumbs up! 1 Replies | Report Abuse Thanks! 0 Replies | Report Abuse Great review MM! Love this movie... Kubrick at his best! 1 Replies | Report Abuse Thanks! 0 Replies | Report Abuse Congrats at reaching 300 reviews MM :) 2001 is a true classic, and by the way brilliant review too 1 Replies | Report Abuse Thanks! 0 Replies | Report Abuse Movies kind of plotless, but still makes it's point about how scary technology can become! 1 Replies | Report Abuse Thanks! 0 Replies | Report Abuse ~Excellent review MM:) A Spectacular film~~Congrats on your 300th review~ 1 Replies | Report Abuse Thanks! 0 Replies | Report Abuse yeah, stunning. the music really did it for me. great review! 1 Replies | Report Abuse Thanks! 0 Replies | Report Abuse Excellent review. 2001 is a true masterpeice, the very definition of what cinema should be. It's more than just a film in my opinion, it's a life experience! 1 Replies | Report Abuse Thanks! 0 Replies | Report Abuse MM, I first saw "2001: A Space Odyssey" when it was released in 1968 in Cinerama. That means it was filmed in sections on three cameras and projected simultaneously to three large screens set in a curved semicircle. Special theaters were created for this format, but alas Cinerama was too expensive and it did not last. You can imagine the impression this film made on me as a young man... the images wrapped around the audience. It seemed almost as if we were in deep space. 2 Replies | Report Abuse Still my favorite Kubrick film, and I'm amazed how it has held up through the years. The final shot always gives me chills. 1 Replies | Report Abuse Thanks! 0 Replies | Report Abuse i know you werent talking to me EG, but damn, kudos on detailing some cinematic history there, i'm jealous of your experience >< 1 Replies | Report Abuse Me too! 1 Replies | Report Abuse congrats on your 300th man, keep it up 1 Replies | Report Abuse Thanks! 0 Replies | Report Abuse Glad you loved it. Many people don't get it. 1 Replies | Report Abuse Thanks! 0 Replies | Report Abuse Brilliant review MM, not surprising though! I really need to see this one! 1 Replies | Report Abuse Thanks! 0 Replies | Report Abuse This film is a masterpiece. I need to buy it. Great review MM. :) 1 Replies | Report Abuse Thanks! 0 Replies | Report Abuse I haven't seen this, but I really need to, if just for HAL alone. great review and congratulations on making 300 1 Replies | Report Abuse Thanks! 0 Replies | Report Abuse Haven't seen it, but I might because of HAL, congrates on ur 300 reviews, not many in this "new" RT got this far. 1 Replies | Report Abuse Thanks! 0 Replies | Report Abuse Fine review of a classic film, despite my less than perfect score that drew so much ire from the RT community :-D Great work! 1 Replies | Report Abuse Thanks! 0 Replies | Report Abuse Agreed, simply as that. Not my favorite Kubrick work as I just recently saw that, but a true whopper of brilliant storytelling and amazing visual effects. Excellent review, and congrats on number 300 :) 1 Replies | Report Abuse Thanks! 0 Replies | Report Abuse You have to step back and really watch this film to appreciate it. Nice review! 1 Replies | Report Abuse Thanks! 0 Replies | Report Abuse Great review! I enjoyed this one a lot too. I saw it before I was so movie-minded so I need to re-watch it. Congrats on 300!!! 1 Replies | Report Abuse Thanks! 0 Replies | Report Abuse This is the only Kubrick film you've seen? You ought to watch "The Shining", it is really eerie. 1 Replies | Report Abuse Plan to see that one as well. Thanks! 0 Replies | Report Abuse One of my favorites...odd to compare it to fantasia and pulp fiction though seeing as how a lot of movies are subtly divided into segments 1 Replies | Report Abuse Thanks! 0 Replies | Report Abuse Great review! :) I often contemplate what I truly feel is the greatest film ever made, and lately, I've been leaning towards this one. It's just brilliant, isn't it? 1 Replies | Report Abuse Yeah, it's brilliant. I haven't found a film that I would dub "the greatest film ever made". Thanks! 0 Replies | Report Abuse As you indicate, the film was ahead of its time. Special effects had to be done pretty much the usual way for 1968, but with huge success. Thanks for posting 0 Replies | Report Abuse Great review MM! I like this movie a lot too, maybe not as much as you, but still very good. I don't think it's the best Sci-fi film ever made, (in my opinion, that honor would go to star wars, jurassic park, or blade runner) but it's still a fantastic movie, i'd score it around an 87%. Just curious - what were the 2 scenes that really creeped you out? 0 Replies | Report Abuse Great review. I agree with you, and this one became my favorite film almost immediately. 0 Replies | Report Abuse |

Don't know if it's my cup of tea, but I might check it out. The final minutes are unforgettable. Nice review. 0 Replies | Report Abuse It's been ages. 0 Replies | Report Abuse Great review! 0 Replies | Report Abuse Sounds pretty good. ~Brilliant review MM~~~I totally agree & youre right that it is quite very underrated~~~I loved every minute of it & Haley's performance just brought tears to my eyes...he was fantastic~~~I love Teddy too....when I first saw him I said...."Oh I want him...I want him!" Teddy is sooo adorable~ 1 Replies | Report Abuse I want Teddy so bad! Thanks! 1 Replies | Report Abuse :)) 0 Replies | Report Abuse I saw it the other night again... and loved it, again! Good review, mate. Thumbs up! 1 Replies | Report Abuse Thanks! 0 Replies | Report Abuse I agree that this is under-rated. I consider it to be a near-masterpiece. The fusion of Kubrick and Spielberg was brilliant. My friends said they felt it was two different movies. I felt that way too, but I loved seeing two different directors' views. I found the two voices coexisted beautifully. I felt Spielberg making a beautiful and deeply felt tribute to Kubrick while not losing sight of his own vision. 1 Replies | Report Abuse Thanks! 0 Replies | Report Abuse This was a very good movie. I would have liked to have seen what Kubrick would have done with it, but he did not do the film. Oh well. 1 Replies | Report Abuse Thanks! 0 Replies | Report Abuse A beautiful film with incredible depth. Heartbreaking too in many ways. 1 Replies | Report Abuse Agreed. Thanks! 0 Replies | Report Abuse Great review MM! It's a film I like even more each time I see it!... 1 Replies | Report Abuse Thanks! 0 Replies | Report Abuse It's ashame Kubrick didn't live to see this or to ever have his dream project a bio pict about emperor napoleon ever green lighted. Brilliant MM 1 Replies | Report Abuse Thanks! 0 Replies | Report Abuse heard a lot of this, but never really came to watching. I'll give it a watch soon, I hope... good review! 1 Replies | Report Abuse Thanks! 0 Replies | Report Abuse Great review! 1 Replies | Report Abuse Thanks! 0 Replies | Report Abuse I really wish Kubrick made this movie. Oh well. Good review. Thumb^. 1 Replies | Report Abuse Thanks! 0 Replies | Report Abuse Great review MM. This is one film by Spielberg that I have yet to see. :) 1 Replies | Report Abuse Thanks! 0 Replies | Report Abuse Splendid review! You should move to blogspot, that ways I can read your stuff :) RT is messe dup for good i think. 1 Replies | Report Abuse I'm sticking w/ RT 'til the end. This problem will be fixed before The Dark Knight Rises comes out. Thanks! 0 Replies | Report Abuse Great introduction, but I have mixed feelings about this film because it's so gloomy and pessimistic, centering on a subject that's been done before called Blade Runner except this film was shown through the eyes of something that shouldn't even be an issue in the first place, since he's incapable to have the same feelings of a human! 1 Replies | Report Abuse Yet to see Blade Runner. Thanks! 0 Replies | Report Abuse Agreed as I've always described this movie as a Kubrick film with a Spielberg ending tacked on. My only issue was that the film goes twenty minutes too long and that what I imagine was the Kubrick ending (the Ferris Wheel scene) was just too dark for Spielberg. Fine movie tainted by a dopey ending, but your review was great! Well done! 1 Replies | Report Abuse Thanks! 0 Replies | Report Abuse Good review, but I wasn't wowed by this film. What was good was that Osmet can was actually able to carry a big screen picture like this. For a kid that age...that's impressive. 1 Replies | Report Abuse Thanks! 0 Replies | Report Abuse Great review! I haven't seen it but I've heard it's alright. 1 Replies | Report Abuse Thanks! 0 Replies | Report Abuse GREAT review!! I love this film as well, and completely share the feeling that it's extremely underrated! Haley was great! 0 Replies | Report Abuse Great review! Probably one of the most depressing movies I've ever seen, but it is great! 0 Replies | Report Abuse I love this movie. I will never watch this movie again... because it made me cry so much the first time. 0 Replies | Report Abuse |

I thought the COMPLETE OPPOSITE. I thought the visual effects were amazing and one of the only reasons it was so poular. I also thought Depp and Bonham Carter were the good actors and that Mia Wakowski was the lackluster, dull one... Oh well, to each his own. :P 1 Replies | Report Abuse The thing that I didn't buy was how the movie was so popular. Worst film to cross the $1 billion mark. 0 Replies | Report Abuse |

UP > Promising fulfilment of a dazzeling fun ride. The whole cast delivered the whole vision of the whole message of wholely singular magician of extremely original art of future bursting technical excellence. 0 Replies | Report Abuse weah man that movie so beast great reviews by the way. 0 Replies | Report Abuse ive never been more bored in my life, dull lame ,cliche save the planet story,3 hrs i want back 3 Replies | Report Abuse Avatar was a visual spectacular and a great achievement. Unfortunatley,in years to come it will not be so remembered because it borrowed a few too many story ideas 0 Replies | Report Abuse i totally agree with you!! 0 Replies | Report Abuse I respectfully disagree... It used everything known to bring a story closer... there is no sin in that. If you want to make a good car you don't reinvent all the technology and new engines... but you can improve them! And that's done in this case. Fantastic world with a message! But, I'll say this is the film for the Dreamers... not too many left... most of them are gunned down! 1 Replies | Report Abuse Ummm ok 1 Replies | Report Abuse nice review, I ALSO LIKE Avatar, but unfortunately I didnt get to see it in 3D :( 0 Replies | Report Abuse story-wise it wasn't great, but the film itself was still a good watch (despite the movie length). I agree though, acting was good. Wonder what Avatar 2 & 3 will be like? 0 Replies | Report Abuse Nice post, amazing movie. :) 0 Replies | Report Abuse like the review but diasgree. avatar had a boring and stupid story. James cameron shoul have one so mch better dont you think? 0 Replies | Report Abuse Awesome review, but I hated Avatar xD 0 Replies | Report Abuse Good review! Thumbs up! However, i have to say that apart from the fantastic visual effects i didn't find the story very interesting! The dialogs are bad too... 0 Replies | Report Abuse avatar is style over substance. stunnin visual effects but shit story and borrows to many ideas. Cameron shoul of done better 0 Replies | Report Abuse I enjoyed every minute of this excellent fantasy! I loved it. Good review! 0 Replies | Report Abuse Great review! This is one of my favorite movies. 0 Replies | Report Abuse It's quality entertainment, in big Cameron style. Thumbs up for the review, too. 0 Replies | Report Abuse Awesome review. 0 Replies | Report Abuse |

Its a classic piece of 1980's brilliance, brilliant review too 0 Replies | Report Abuse Nice review. 0 Replies | Report Abuse Great Review! I love the sequels but this is my favorite one 0 Replies | Report Abuse The best of the three in my opinion. Great review. 1 Replies | Report Abuse its hard to say because all three of them are great. the third one is a western, action love story. The second is a future seeing adventure. The first one i=needless to say is great too :) 0 Replies | Report Abuse Nice review 0 Replies | Report Abuse Nice review MM! Interesting you give it the lowest score... I personally would have scored this one the highest for it's originallity (at the time)... 0 Replies | Report Abuse my all-time favorite! 0 Replies | Report Abuse awesome film. I personally give it a 100% myself. One of my fave of the decade. 0 Replies | Report Abuse Love it!!! Great review ;) 0 Replies | Report Abuse I went to this at the cinema when it was first released in the UK. Loved it then... still love it now. Great review. 0 Replies | Report Abuse Great review, I just saw this at the theatre the other day. 0 Replies | Report Abuse Great review! This is a total classic. 0 Replies | Report Abuse great review! i think this is the best one of the entire series 0 Replies | Report Abuse This is a classic film, and your review is quite great 0 Replies | Report Abuse Great review. I won't shoot you, I actually enjoy Part II better, just not Part III. 0 Replies | Report Abuse Great review. It's a 80s classic. 0 Replies | Report Abuse "Marty is sent thirty years into the past to the year 1955 where he falls in love with his mother's younger self." What... the... heck? Did you even watch the movie? It's completely the other way around. 0 Replies | Report Abuse gotta love his film. 0 Replies | Report Abuse Great review. Part II was pretty terrible, IMO. Never saw Part III. I really like the movie, but for me it isn't 100% either. It's just a bit too cute. 0 Replies | Report Abuse awesome film, and one of the few series where all (in this case both of) the sequels are great! 0 Replies | Report Abuse Good review, one of my favorites ever. :) 0 Replies | Report Abuse This is my favorite out of the 3. Nice review. 0 Replies | Report Abuse This film kicks major ass. Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd are boss. 0 Replies | Report Abuse The best time travel movie ever! This is my second favorite of the three. Great review. 0 Replies | Report Abuse My presonal fave of the trilogy for its ideas of the risks of changing time and depiction of what life will be like in four years time, hey this is the year 2011 and were hell are the hover boards? Lol Brilliant review 0 Replies | Report Abuse Interesting that it is better than first. Nice review. 0 Replies | Report Abuse Nice review MM! Liked this movie very much... 0 Replies | Report Abuse I disagree with the view that is is better then the sequel but I still really liked it, don't hate the hate that some direct at it. Nice review. 0 Replies | Report Abuse Love it!!! Great review ;) 0 Replies | Report Abuse Hmmm... it's a good film, but like Temple of Doom, it's the odd one out of the three. What starts off as light and bright becomes a dark film and Hill Valley without George McFly becomes like Bedford Falls without George Bailey. That said, it is entertaining. Great review. 0 Replies | Report Abuse I also think it's the best of the 3,but it's easy to see why others wouldn't say that. This was made like a filler TV episode. 0 Replies | Report Abuse Great review! I Need to re-watch this trilogy. 0 Replies | Report Abuse great review! i thought the first was the best, but i didn't really like this one as much. don't get me wrong, it's still fantastic, but just not as good as the first 0 Replies | Report Abuse quite a brilliant sequel, nice review 0 Replies | Report Abuse Great review. :) 0 Replies | Report Abuse I wished they just stayed in the future. The rest became quite convoluted. Too bad Crispin Glover wasn't asked back. He was hard to work with according to some sources. 0 Replies | Report Abuse I do so like the movie, but if the future 2015 looks like the way it looks in the movie and it's 2011, then maybe I need glasses. 0 Replies | Report Abuse |

It was OK. Good review. 0 Replies | Report Abuse I love the BTTF trilogy 100% since I was a kid, and the way each part fits almost perfectly with the following part is amazing!!! Awesome review ;) 0 Replies | Report Abuse Did not care for it but nice review nonetheless. 0 Replies | Report Abuse good review!I haven't seen any of the back to the future movies, but I plan to! 0 Replies | Report Abuse The first two were better, but this one was still great. Nice review MM. 0 Replies | Report Abuse Good review but i have to give a thumbs down because i reckon it really bad at sucking!!! 0 Replies | Report Abuse Although most hate this film I like it for being a neat way to end a brilliant trilogy and how Marty calls himself Clint Eastwood. Brilliant review 0 Replies | Report Abuse Great Review! I liked this to 0 Replies | Report Abuse Nice review MM! Glad they ended the franchise there though... 0 Replies | Report Abuse Guess what... Loved this one too. The cinematography of the Old West scenes is beautiful, the jokes and references to the past films and the culture of the time and the plot works well to round off this trilogy. Another great review. 0 Replies | Report Abuse This is my favorite. I haven't watched the Back to the Future series in a while,so I might watch it over. 0 Replies | Report Abuse I always had a soft spot for these films. The sequel at least, that's just a full on classic. Great review! 0 Replies | Report Abuse great review! this is the only one in the series i haven't seen yet 0 Replies | Report Abuse I don't think this films the worst, just simply the least brilliant. Great review 0 Replies | Report Abuse This one is my least favorite, but I still gave it a 90%. Fantastic review. 0 Replies | Report Abuse its a lot better than the second one 0 Replies | Report Abuse Good review, this is my favourite of the trilogy 0 Replies | Report Abuse Great review. :) 0 Replies | Report Abuse Though it's my least favorite, I still love it and it's still an awesome way to end the trilogy. 0 Replies | Report Abuse |

How can a script be homosexual? Also, you don't trust Disney, they're demographic includes kids stupid enough to not have common sense within their shows or movies, which is the only kind of people who will enjoy this film, good review.
