Great review Movie Monster! You should seriously watch it in IMAX!

I really hope I get to see this in IMAX before its out of the theater. Thanks!

Excellent review! I loved this movie and thought it was as good as TDK. I plan to see this a third time.
on 7/28/12 at 11:46 PM
Thanks! I need to see this again as well!

Nicely written, I could tell you put allot of thought into this review and without spoilers. I too didn't find Bane as interesting as the Joker, he was simply too direct in his approach. Though he did bring allot of great set pieces, you'll truly be blown away how epic the climax looks in IMAX if you get to see it in that format.

Great review. Just a quick note, James Newton Howard was not involved with this movie. The score was done solo by Hans Zimmer.

With or without James Newton Howard, Zimmer's score was still amazing. Thanks for correcting me and I'm glad you liked the review!

This has got to be better than the Dark Knight, because TDK was honestly a heavily extended episode of CSI with Sherlock Holmes in a Batman costume, many inconsistencies, an uninteresting Rachel, & Two-face was almost useless & unnecessary. Anyways, I'm looking forward to this one, even though I don't even like Nolan (he's boring to me, with the exception of The Prestige, & Begins).

I hope you like it, Frisby2007. Thanks!

Excellent review, couldn't agree more! This was truly an amazingly crafted film and it's climax was simply brilliant, and I admit I loved it! I did however feel that this was the only of Christopher Nolan's Batman films that actually had flaws though. The beginning was far too slowly paced, taking a period of time before it eventually kicks into highgear. Riddled with unnecessary subplots that didn't help to advance the plot, and some that remained unclear/unfulfilled and even stretched the real

I agree. Thanks!

Great review and also for me the second installment of the trilogy was the best one. I really like TDKR but the scene of clash between the police and Bane's forces was over the top - it should have been arranged in different way.

Boy, I believed that scene to be one of the most breathtaking. I personally believe it was a great portray of the struggle for power between two different system models.

I actually liked the Bane vs. Police scene but I respect your opinion. Thanks!

A brilliant review, Movie Monster. I personally believe Bane to be the best villain in Nolan's series (particularly when compared to Shumacher's Bane). Would you like a Nightwing spin-off instead of a ridiculous reboot? Oh, and did you really enjoy the movie enough to see it more than once? I saw it four times XD. See ya.
on 8/25/12 at 09:51 PM
A Nightwing spin-off would be cool but I'd like to see a reboot if it doesn't happen too soon. I'd like to see how the next director interprets Batman. I hope its comic booky but still dark and deep like the animated series. Yeah, Schumacher's Bane was a joke and a total waste. Thanks!

Simply put, it was epic. The trilogy finally comes to an end, I'm happy and sad at the same time. Quite a concise review!

Nice review. I'm not a superfan of this one. It felt really choppy, and it had some really annoying things about it that I detail in my own review. However, still a good finish to a masterful trilogy.

Congrats on the featured review! Anyways, saw this a while back, & I was right! This film was definitely better than TDK, because it wasn't an overlong episode of CSI with political crap that pretty much has nothing to do with Batman.

This was a featured review? Sweet! I'm glad you enjoyed the film, Frisby2007. Thanks!

Excellent review! I liked the way you divided the film into three acts. It will be extremely hard to top this brilliant trilogy that Nolan created. I gotta say that i was blown away by Tom Hardy's performance and he was as equally impressive as Heath's Joker for me though.
