My favorite movie by far, surpasses every criteria a movie should excel in. Great performances were delivered by Steve Buscemi, William H. Macy, and Frances Mcdormand. Beautiful shots of the simplest of things; the snow in a parking lot, the forest's edge on the frozen lake bed, and the giant Paul Bunyan statue in front of the blue ox inn, which is actually near where I grew up in Forest Lake. I also found the Canadian and Minnesota accents hilarious considering that's what I sounded like for about 7 years, but I digress, this movie is a must-see for all movie lovers and ex-Canadians.
