100%... Whoah! I enjoyed it thoroughly as well. Glad you liked it that much, Linda. Great review!

Thank you, Dave :) I'd like to read your take on it, as well.

Thnx XD Though I was primarily surprised because I had never seen a 100% rating from you before =P

Well, truthfully, I'd probably give Prometheus a 95%, but I think I'll let the 100% stand. Why not? :)

Top notch review and sublime defense against the bizarrely steadfast group of detractors who seem to loathe this movie with the passion of a thousand burning suns. The movie's flawed, yea, but it's also so magnificently stimulating and rich. Even the fans of the movie, like you or me, can admit some aspects were stupid (I still can't watch Theron and Rapace running away from the crashing spaceship with a straight face.)
But, to get so offended, like this was "Transformers 2" or something, and
to so easily dismiss what this movie has to offer is just disappointing.

Thanks Double Dubs :) What really makes me laugh is when people say that the movie is illogical, and follow up the statement with, ?anyone that likes Prometheus is an idiot.? Yeah, that's perfect logic. Judging the overall mental capacities of someone you don't even know based on one opinion of a movie. Prometheus has so much to offer on, and it?s entertaining to boot!

Thumb is still plump. I'm not entirely convinced that the intial planet is Earth, per se, or rather representing all Earth-like life-supporting planets. As for the haters, Psychology 101 - people can easily dislike a film they have already decided to dislike before entering the theater and vice versa. It always surprises me how few people (or critics) are aware and reflective of that fact.

Thanks you Janson, as always, and your interpretation of the beginning is a welcome one. I'll never understand why people wanted to hate it.

I can't stand this movie. It is beautiful to look at, and I can't knock the performances nor can I knock Scott's directing, but the plot is porous, the characters 2-dimensional, and the logic all over the place. Nice review though lol

Okay, then. I can knock a few of the performances, actually, despite how much I liked it. I don't agree, but I'll defend your right to hate Prometheus :)

Great review Linda! I had a blast watching Prometheus and overall, I thought it never ceased to intrigue me, being beautifully shot as well.

I liked it, too... not, maybe for 100%... but it was a good movie!

Thanks Panta :) Yeah, 100% is pushing it a bit, but I felt generous. What the hey?
