Weirdsville (2007)
70%Extremely odd and has tons of different genre nods. It shouldn't work but incredibly it does it well.

Laughable dialouge, sub-par special effects, and an incredibly wooden Sam Worthington deter what could have been an enjoyable cheese-fest.

Its game-changing visuals are a feast for the eyes and make-up for wooden performances, generic plot, and hackneyed message. Barely.

Abbie Cornish's performance is the heart and soul of this moving, heartfelt film about love eternal cut too soon.

A wonderful hybrid of sci-fi, horror, romance and comedy. A visual gem for those that like a more thoughtful futuristic story.

Though definitely not for thin-skinned or the faint-hearted, its gory set pieces and wonderfully unhinged characters make it a must-see for gorehounds.

Though its uneveness gets in its way more than it should. Its interesting concept and fight scences make it barely above average post-apocolyptic actioner.

Some people will say this film has no redeeming social value. True. But it does its job as a deeply disturbing, exploitive thriller that is worth a rent.

A gory, nudity-filled love letter to horror/exploitation films of the 70's. Though it takes awhile to get going, it's payoff makes it one of the best horror films of 2010.

Though a somewhat generic actioner, the fantastic veteran cast make the experience better than the ride.

As a critic, I can safely say the "Freddy Got Fingered" has no redeeming social value, utterly tasteless, and is an incoherent mess and rated as such. But as a movie fan, I thought it was an amazing piece of schlock that anybody who loves the genre should see at least once.
