I have a strong hatred toward this movie not only is it boring and the main love interest is a complete dumbass. It seems like this movie is complete cash grab with actions scenes so poorly shot it makes Micheal Bay action a masterpiece. Throughout the film all the main chick does is do something stupid and Vin Diesel has to help her. This formula is played out throughout the whole film and you cant get the chance feel something for these characters because the acting is so bad. The film tries to trick us into thinking it has intelligence within its story and script but the fact is the script is lazy and this is based off of a book. So the story isn't even originally conceived from the filmmakers. The villain is a Russian Mobster that is after the girl that Vin Diesel is saving and taking to her destination. He doesn't have the worst performance in the film but his character is weak and even though he isn't the worst he still is pretty bad. The visuals are pretty weak as far as the imagination of the film goes. The trick to making a futuristic film with a run down city is exploring the world that city exists in. Letting the audience have a clear understanding of that world. Bablylon A.D. attempts to do that but immediately stops which shows me a clear sign of pure laziness. You can make the argument that this is just a mindless action movie but the action like i said earlier in the film is weak and very boring to watch. My suggestion is to stay clear from this film don't waste your time watching it.
