The story line could have some little improvements but the basic story is great although they could have slowed it down as it was very fast to the paint. The acting could be a little better on Hayden Christensen and Jamie Bell part. They did a good job on the graphics of portals and jumps which was an added plus that really got me into this film. attention to detail is key in any film.

From the first time i watched this film back in 2006 i just couldn't beleave what i had seen. I fell in love with the story line and cast of the film. I would to say thanks to Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris for making this film what is is.

I've watched this film every year without missing one since it came out. love it.

Shutter Island is a master peace from actor and oscar winning director Martin Scorsese.

Shutter Island is the story of a pair of U.S marshals Leonardo DiCaprio that plays on screen as Teddy Daniels and Mark Ruffalo as Chuck Aule. Teddy Daniels and Chuck Aule are all ready on board a boat heading towards the remote Island which is know for keeping the most extreme mental patients the world has seen. The first 20 mins of the film is a bore with not much happening apart from introductions which is a big put off for me as i like to get right into the story from the start.

They are sent to the island to ivesigate a patient that went missing during the night. when the pair get their they start by questioning the staff and patients which is the most intresting part of the screen play so far.

Not soon after questioning the staff and paitents things take dramatic turn in events which i don't want to go into details as it will ruin the ending for you. But i can say that it takes your mind and messes with it for sometime which makes your wonder whats really happening with Teddy Daniels. I would recommend watching and even buying this film when it goes out on dvd because you will want to watch it again.

I'm not going to waste my time going on about this film as i wasted so much time watching. it's not scary and it very boring. I only liked the way they filmed it.(documentry style)

This movie is interesting with some entertaining parts but at times the spooky parts just arn't spooky. This is something that they should work on if they are bringing out a second movie which i wouldn't mind watching to see if they improved on the scary parts of the film.
