	Votes +16 +22 / -6 thumb up thumb down Resident Evil: Afterlife (2010) Genre: Action & Adventure 50% Posted on 1/31/11 04:17 AM Not big fan of zombies theme but still respect RE sequels. Lame and lazy plot. Things burning 5 years later, ammo, fuel, food, clothes, makeup never runs out or wears out. 9 foot tall monsters sneaking unseen and unheard into a bathroom and backstabs people. Plot is maybe questionable at some points, but who cares, its about killing zombies and surviving, mostly. Love the scene where she comes to airfield and so many different planes, you could choose any to take. World in chaos - go into a shop and just take what ever you need. First thing i would do, go to weapons store and equipped myself well, then get myself powerful jeep, food supply and then hunt some zombies....hahaha. Typical shooting for ages without reloading. Became a usual thing in movies nowadays. Who the HELL is the Executioner? And who created him? Why is Wesker dressed like Mr. Anderson from The Matrix? Why do the zombies suddenly have weird tentacles? At least some new things - Wentworth Miller. Expert in escapes :) Utterly ridiculous "matrix" action scenes. If Alice can multiplies then anything is possible. Good fight scenes with zombies, must admit. Still does not deserve really low rating because RE are the best zombies theme movies among so many of them. Some good special effects though. I dont understand, after 4 sequels with not high rating, they are planning a 5th sequels. Where is common sense there? Sounds like forcing it. Simply - brainless entertaining, which brings nothing new comparing to prequels. Still easy watchable. Namely the Executioner, the Majini and the Matrix-style fight scenes. I guess Paul W.S. Anderson wanted to cash in on the 5th game, moron. Totally agree with you, this film was okay but the plot, dialogue and the overall feel was just lazy and dull.
