yeah, some movie icons defy why they became such. The Oscars sure enough took their time honoring him. But wooden acting is nothing new. Look at Gary Cooper for instance. Charles Bronson, I thought, was not much acting wise. Audey Murphy was the worst actor of all but celebrated. In my opinion, that is.
