I wasn't interested in seeing it from the trailers. They appeared to pay more attention on Civil Rights instead of Jackie Robinson as a person, though appears I was wrong. I don't watch much sport movies because of the formula so this is not clearly for me. Only so much sappiness I could take from sports movies. 1 Replies | Report Abuse

I don't understand why some people confused this as a Disney movie even back then. I mean, when this movie debuted (I was 6 at the time) I already knew it wasn't a Disney movie. But the reason for this formula used was because since the 90s were the era for Princess movies (and when Disney was back at their best), Don Bluth decided to run with it. Also, the animation in here is not bad, at all; Don Bluth's movies, as bad as some have been, never have animation that fall under great. You should c 1 Replies | Report Abuse
