Oops, I forgot to do a DVD/Blu-Ray picks for this past Tuesday. Oh well, considering that Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen was the biggest release this week and I hate that film with a passion, it probably wasn't worth doing one anyway. I might get around to seeing the live action Blood: The Last Vampire that was released this week. Here are my picks for next week though.




Orphan is probably going to be a film that you really like, or totally hate. I was one of the people who really enjoyed this film, which took a tired horror concept (a murderous child) and does an interesting spin on it. I think it is one of the more effective horror/suspense films of the year, and it is at least worth a rental.




Fear(s) of the Dark has been an animated movie I've been looking forward to seeing. Six animators have come together and made an anthology film that features their own personal look into terror. I hope the wait for this one has been worth it.




I'm really excited that Night of the Creeps is finally coming to DVD and Blu-Ray. This is Fred Decker's (The Monster Squad) other cult classic film and one that has had a rather difficult road to finally being released. I've loved this film since I was younger, and have been looking forward to the day that I can finally own a copy.
