Would be good as a video game I suppose but as a movie it fails, zero plot, flat characters, it thinks it can make this up with bullets, blood, special effects with slow motion sequences. I'd like something a bit more myself but it satisfies if you shut your brain off. For myself, I'm surprised this is rated so much better over the original. At least the original while cheesy, attempted to give Dredd a backstory and you even got to see his face.
