Showing 1 - 1 of 1 Movie Blogs
So this is this week's edition of my blog with an update of movies I have seen or reviewed in the past 7 days. As some might have noticed I posted my first list this week on my favourite movie scores. It annoyed me that rotten tomatoes wouldn't allow me to do spacing in the list description because now it looks messy.. DAMN!. But I have included my favourite tracks so if people would like to youtube them and have a listen then that would be cool :) I hope to be doing a few more lists in the following weeks on different topics.
I also hope to be doing a few blogs on things that I can't do in a list such as my favourite opening moments of movies etc.
So in the past week I only made one trip to the cinema which was to see Transformers: Dark of the Moon and since I enjoy the transformers films because I don't expect much in substance and only expect visual flair I must say I very much enjoyed the movie. I shall be writing a review soon and another film I have planned to review is The Dark Knight as it was requested. I plan on writing 2-3 reviews a week and try and maintain over the next few weeks.
Films that I have seen this week that I haven't seen previously include Red Cliff which I found amazing and you can read my review on that to find my full thoughts. Other films are Reservoir Dogs, Dr Strangelove and Teen Wolf.Reservoir Dogs I thought was brilliantly executed and whilst brutal kept me hooked till the end. Dr Strangelove was a very strange film but enjoyable and had very suttle comedy and it was a joy to watch Peter Sellers performances as numerous characters. Finally Teen Wolf was just crazy and typical 80's cash cow film but I found the film fun to watch and it kept me humoured and entertained for it's length. Ratings for these films are as followed.
Transformers Dark of the Moon (8/10), Red Cliff (10/10), Reservoir Dogs (9/10), Dr Strangelove (9/10), Teen Wolf (7/10).
That's it for this weeks blog, feedback or anything people would like me to review/blog/list in the next week then let me know.
