As a person who has never watched the original Conan the Barbarian I cannot make comparisons between the two, I did enjoy this movie, I am a fan of blood and gore, corny over the top acting and this delivered quite well.
I felt the film didnt quite live up to expectations for myself at least with all the hype that was generated via the media, I did go in with high expectations, Jason Momoa is relatively a new comer to films and I was suprised how well he was able to portray Conan.
I felt the film didnt tie up all of the loose ends which I dislike with any film.
I would definately watch the sequal should they ever decide to make one but I wont be going in with high expectations so maybe it will surprise me.

Wait a minute! Ive seen this movie before, I think, maybe, oh yeah its a remake of the first one.
All jokes aside, it follows the same basic storyline as the first of getting drunk, the next morning they are missing a member of the group and spend the new few days searching for him, finding clues among the way.
But it does it so well that it keeps you entertained, the main part of it keeping you entertained is that it makes it more edgy than the first one and it does rely on the "shocking" moments more so to keep it funny.
For some they knew what was coming, for me I try not to think mid way through the movie and it kept me guessing which I was hoping for after seeing the first one in the series as I thought the sequal would be to obvious in places.
I am looking forward to the next sequal in the series which has already been confirmed, however purely because they have promised that it will be significantly different from the first two and will deliver more laughs than the seconds.
That I can get on board with!

This is one of the worst films I have seen in a while, its extremely unrealistic, the performances from some are laughable.
I believe it to be an insult to the 1993 film starring Keifer Sutherland, Charlie Sheen, Chris O'Donnell and Oliver Platt. The 1993 film had a good plot, excellent acting and funny moments throughout.
The 2011 film however had me wanting to walk out 20 minutes in, I decided to stick it out and the film just got worse. I expected a lot more from such a good cast but was extremely dissapointed by the time the credits FINALLY started rolling.

Its Rocky with robots but it works, Hugh Jackman and especially Dakota Goyo display excellent performances.
The film is a little cliche at times and does drone on a little to long for my taste with a few too many sappy moments but an enjoyable film nonetheless.
It would be interesting if they could actually pull off a sequal which is already rumoured to be planned for 2013, it would be interesting to see if they could come up with a story that could keep the audiences entertained as well as keep guessing.

I was actually quite suprised by this film, as a person who enjoyed the first one I felt it didnt really need a sequal, boy was I wrong.
Its very hard to make me laugh and this made me laugh out loud several times throughout, in my opinion it was even better than the first one.
With a spoof film its hard to call the performances brilliant but thats exactly what it was, Rowan Atkinson is so good at acting stupid, the performance was excellent.

This film I believe to be the absolute best performance by Adam Sandler period, not only is this a very funny movie but it has drama, tons of sappy moments that even the most manliest of men may find a few manly tears running down there cheek.
For anybody who think that Adam Sandler cant do any serious acting I present to you "Click" In my opinion his performance is oscar worthy.
The performance from not only Adam Sandler should be praised but Kate Beckinsale, Christopher Walken, Henry Winkler and Jake Hoffman deliver brilliant performances.

FINALLY! A good Predator movie since the original.
After the disappointing Predator 2 and the crossover films Alien vs Predator and Alien vs Predator - Reqiuem which borderlined on just plain silly.
This Predator film makes you think, the acting is quite good especially from Adrien Brody, Alice Braga and Laurence Fishburne, the actual Predators were extremely realistic looking which is a plus in my book and due to the ending I personally cant wait for a sequal should they ever decide to make one.

Despite the acting being excellent, there were some moments during the film that got quite boring.
The final 20 minutes obviously being the best part of the movie, with all the twists and turns keeps it very interesting.
However with all the twists and turns throughout the movie there was some disappointment as the credits rolled as they didnt tie up all the loose ends, far from it actually. I guess its one of those films that you have to interpret the ending for yourself.
I guess its worth a watch but I certainly wont be watching it again.

Despite the touchy subject of male rape, this film delivers in my opinion lots of laughs and is incredibly entertaining.
Im personally not a fan of Rob Shneider but this is one of the best comedies I have seen in a long time, it isnt meant to be taken seriously.
David Carradine was a delightful addition to the film, I dont think the film would have worked without him.
I can watch this film numerous times over and still be entertained.

Credited as the best of the series since the original, Fast Five certainly delivers an awesome action blast that is hard to top.
Its thrilling, exciting and the performances from Vin Diesal and Dwayne Johnson imparticular are excellent.
On the negative side, as a fan of the series, the lack of street racing etc is quite disappointing. I do realize this was supposed to be the film in the series that moves the series away from the street racing film and into the more action/thriller genre. But I do wish there was more street racing aspects in the film.
If anything I believe that this film should of ended the series (not that I dont want to see the next installment), but that it was so well received and the end result is positive for all characters involved, it would of been quite simple to end the story here.
However the post credits scene is quite interesting and I believe will provide an unexpected twist in the next installment.
