The Longest Yard
Adam Sandler and a bunch of cons playing football. Doesn't sound like a good movie, am I right? I've already said that the reason for most of my reviews being positive is because I pick them out myself. Well, that is one fact I still stand by, because picking this movie was a fucking brilliant choice of mine. This movie is one of the few so called must-see movies in the world. You don't believe me? Watch it, and then get back to me and tell me that this movie wasn't worth watching.
I am not much of a sports-man myself, but this movie, got even me excited. And that says more than a lot! I mean, it has violence, brutality, big-ass maniacs, fast-running B-ball players playing football and much, much more! It got action, comedy, painful moments that make you scream out simply by watching. It has also got some sadness, camaraderie, friendship, hatred, rivalry and it actually made me shed a tear, not two though, but damn! I didn't think I would, because I never do during movies, well, rarely anyhow. Yet I did shed one. There you have another reason to watch this awesome movie.
Acting: great, no, more than great. It was close to perfect.
Stunts: amazingly brilliant!
Music: good too.
Story: well, the story is simply, I think clever, smart and brilliant are fitting words here.
Adam Sandler did a hell of a job both acting as the main character who everybody hates, and producing this piece of greatness. That is one thing that no one, not a single person in this entire world can say no to.
So let's wrap things up here. I have nothing but this to say about this movie it was great and I highly recommend you and expect you to watch it if you haven't already. And if you agree or disagree on anything I said here please, feel free to comment and let me know your opinion of my opinion or simply what you think of the movie. Now for my rating. I give this great and awesome movie nothing less than 7 stars, because that is at least what it deserves.
So, 7/10 stars. Highly recommended!!!
Peace & Love
Until next time.
