My older brother had been bothering me for the past 7 years to see this movie, and I am not sure why that it took me until now to watch the movie. To me the movie lived up to all the hype that my older brother had given the movie. I would be willing to put The Big Lebowski up there with my all time favorite comedies, or even films. The dialogue between the characters is hilarious with how they respond to each other with different, usually insulting, remarks. Jeff Bridges and John Goodman put together strong performances in the lead roles as a burnt out stoner and a Vietnam war vet. The plot gets crazier and more random as the film goes on, but that is partially what makes it so fun, you have a hard time trying to guess what is going to happen next.
It is yet another masterpiece by the Coen Brothers that is easily up there with other hits of theirs such as Fargo and No Country for Old Men. The end scene of the movie is what really brings the film together and could possibly be one of my favorite scenes in all of film.
