Annoying movie... especially for me as an archaeologist and historian... Greece exist since 19th century, and using the term "Greek" for Sparta, Athens, Troy... or any other ancient city is just wrong! They fought each other and were never looking at each other as "brothers" and friends - always as enemies! But, history is interesting science - no one ever thought of calling Romans "Italians", but somehow it's OK to call Spartans "Greek"!? It's much more complicated than that - but not in comics

This movie never really did anything for me. While it was undoubtedly a visual treat, I found that the film was essentially hollow, and depthless. When compared with Spider-Man 2, and The Dark Knight nowadays, it only quickens the film's aging, in my opinion.

Only saw it ounce and somewhat liked it. Aside from an expected lack of accuracy the visuals couldn't hide issues with the plot. Also Rodrigo Santoro's camp and flamboyant performance took me out of the moment. At least it has some decent action scenes to say the least.
