This film fails to entertain the mature audience compared to the other horror films in the 21st century, but as an unexpected side benefit, the die-hard Scream fans were most please and cannot wait for the possible sequel.
Rob Zombie's take on Halloween has evolved the story into more than what John Carpenter gave to us. It is a new take on an old story, and there is nothing wrong with that.
A film that fits the PG-13 rating while bringing a satisfying 70's cultures to us in the 21st century mixed with the supernatural that we come to know and love.
