There is something edgy about the Spielberg movies, they are all well executed, visually and with fine performances, but they never made me say 'wow ... More

Tim Burton always had a liking for sharp blades. The first one that I had noticed was in Sweeney Todd and then in Sleepy Hollow. In all these films, the hero flaunts his blade and their is no difference in Scissorhands as well. This fairy tale is effectively made, like the sculptures and gardens that Edward makes. I have heard from many that this film is Johnny Depp's best and unfortunately I did get that much from him as I had expected, but who cares. This is the story of the man who makes it snow on the small town. He is man made and blah blah blah.

Like Tim Burton films, but for some reason have never watched this. Depp always had some strange roles and this one sounds no different. Thumbs up for your opinion.

You can watch this film if you are a fan of Depp. I liked almost all his films with Tim Burton except Alice in Wonderland. I even felt that Dark Shadows was bearable.

I like this one too. Been years since I last saw it, but like you said. A well made fairy tale and one of Depp best performances.

I liked this film's fantasy elements and climax, but I feel like I had seen far more better performances from Depp, like in Sweeney Todd.
