I Love You, Man is a decent guy/chick flick with some funny moments and likeable characters. The film is about Peter Klaven (Paul Rudd) who is an all around nice guy who getting married to the woman he loves, Zooey (Rashida Jones), but when it comes to choosing a best man he realises he hasn't got any friends. He sets up a series of friend audition but ends up clicking with Sydney (Jason Segel). Both Rudd and Segel make a great comedy pair and have great friendship chemistry. Sydney is an unconventional and at times brutish, but highly likeable and is the kind of guy regardless of your gender who you'd like to hang out with.
There were plenty of funny bits as well as more serious parts when the bromance between Sydney and Peter, affects his relationship with Zooey. I felt the film sometimes tried a bit too hard to differientate itself from other rom-coms and guy flicks and ended up being similar to Rudd and Segel's previous films, but on the whole this is a highly enjoyable and likeable film.
