It's not John Ford's biggest western, but possibly his best. A story of a lawyer, a rancher, the girl, and the menacing outlaw that creates one career but kills another. Excellent black and white lighting and acting from James Stewart, John Wayne, and Lee Marvin. I'm one to believe that all of history can be described by this film's greatest quote.
