An enjoyable drunken haze of a movie. Great performances by all the leads (esp. Ed Helms and Zach Galifianakis). Nothing to write home about and is definitely not as memorable as other raunchy comedies, but an enjoyable popcorn flick nonetheless.
Not a traditional "gangster" flick, this film was much more of a historical drama complete with a love story and lots of bullets. Very slow, but with GREAT character acting by Johnny Depp (that man does not disappoint). If you're looking for a shoot-em-up thrill ride, that's not this movie. But if you are looking for a more intellectual build up, then this delivers.
Started off as a downer and then picked UP (ahahaha, so witty am i). An nice little Pixar film with an endearing lead and side-kick. It had everything you could ask for in a Pixar flick, including a hilarious talking dog, but lacked a little memorable oompf which separates it from digital masterpieces like Wall-E.
Realistically endearing. I went through a range of emotions watching this film. I enjoyed it, then got bored, then got wrapped up in the story. Krasinski and Rudolph are excellent character actors in this film, causing you to believe in and root for their happiness. Akin to Garden State in its quirkiness, but unfortunately is not as memorable. There were moments though, where I was so full of happy love mush that I just wanted to reach out and hug them.
Predictable but still enjoyable. I pretty much adore Simon Pegg and he was the only thing that kept this film afloat. That and the adorable kid. It was funny at times, but boring at others. A big fat "Meh".
