Movie Ratings and Reviews

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III

I love the turtles, but this was dire...

DOA: Dead or Alive
½

Some great fight scenes and it made a pretty good job of capturing the feel of the game, right down to the Beach Volleyball. If you liked Mortal Kombat you'll love it.

Sympathy for Lady Vengeance

Its very long, but its definatley worth sitting through. Possibly Better than both Oldboy and Sympathy for Mr Vengeance.

Orgazmo

Matt n Trey are gods! Who else could make a movie about a Mormon-pornstar-superhero?!

Thsi film is funny as hell, its great!

The Hole
The Hole (2001)

this movie sucked. i mean not even Kiera Knightleys breasts could save it from major suckage.

Grosse Pointe Blank

Another classic Cusack movie, go buy it now.

High Fidelity

A brilliant movie thats up there with films like Empire Records and Almost Famous. Another great soundtrack and faithful to the book almost entirely (despite the london/chicago thing) i fully reccommend it.

Bones
Bones (2001)

It should be utterly awful, (rappers in horror are generally a bad idea), but theres something about Bones that clicks. Its cliche'd to the teeth with Snoopisms (he turns into a dog, and uses phrases like "dog eat dog mutha fucka", oh yes) but it all adds to the comedy side of it. It may be flawed and cheesy, but would you expect anything less?

Audition (‘dishon)

A stunningly brutal film that shows that where western horror has grown stale and watered down, the Japanese have managed to continue scaring the utter shit out of us.

Empire Records

Lets get one thing straight, this movie is incredible. Its in my top 5 all time favourite movies list, say no more ;)

"you play a MEAN guitar Marc, too bad we have to KILL YOU!"

Queen of the Damned

Love the movie even though its nowhere near as good as the book, the soundtrack is amazing too

Robin Hood
Robin Hood (1973)

Lethal Weapon

Before Mel Gibson became an insane jew hating maker of crap films about jesus getting his ass kicked, he was the awesome half of one of the coolest cop duo's this side of the 80's

Baby Geniuses
