Michael's Review of Hugo

    Hugo (2011)

This movie started poorly the first 10-15 minutes I was like this sucks and will be tough to finish. Chloe Moretz was great and when Asa Butterfield had her to work off of really kicked it up a notch. As you get to explore G.Melies you feel Kingsley mastery at work and by the end I was in love with the film. dispite all I just said above, what I like most is how it reminds me what I love about watching early silent era films and how I often wish I was a filmmaker back then when the art just seemed more pure. Like good wine pop the cork and let it breath and by half way through you will love Hugo.
