I was somewhat bored with it. From what I can remember. There was a former surgeon that developed a way for people to heal faster but was never tested etc by the FDA. Its where it comes from however that?s the problem. He was suspended from the hospital & I believe sent to a mental hospital. He?s used it on himself & well seems to work. He?s back & wreaking havoc on those that put him away . (well at this for this one thing there was no testing on animals. But there is a scene where they are doing something to show a panel that some kind of ?therapy? works on a baboon.
I?ve been waiting for this to come out let alone for it to be available! Henry Cavill from the Tudors is in it and Dominick Purcell of Prison Break (& Drake in Blade Trinity) Fame. They play brothers Dom?s character enlists in the army behind Evan?s (played by Henry) back. Evan is left behind to care for the father & having to hear that Dom?s his hero) After that is where the story starts.. a horror story with a german that is trying to find rune stones to make himself more powerful in using the dark arts. (think a more Nazi-ish Lord Voldermort.. kinda looks like it but not so snake like) The er.. I?ll say ?creature? at the start is freakish & kinda scary looking I guess. Its no dead snow.. but I liked the story apparently Nazi?s are the new thing in movies again. (or at least the look. There?s another movie I?ve herd about that was at comic con & looks like a female version/style inglorious basterds! Well I watched this late at night & didn?t fall asleep, Henry Cavill I?d like to see him for once where he doesn?t look dashing! (let?s see The Tudors as Duke of Suffolk, Whatever Works (a small role & I belive uses his actual Jersey accent) also was in Hellrasier: Hellworld & still hot. Mm Maybe as God Theseus in Next years (nov) Immortals (aka War of the Gods) I this he at least has a leading role (his 1st I believe) so check it out. C
to start I just want to say It looks a bit funny seeing Sam Worthington with hair in an American film (or at least start it, as in Avatar its short then grows out a bit) If Sam really was that high up, I think I would have fallen off that ledge from the dizzying height & aside from that, during parts of the movie I caught myself holding my breath. The movie is intense and in NO WAY boring like phone booth was. Youâ(TM)re not staring at him on the ledge all movie (like you did Colin Ferrell in phone booth) thereâ(TM)s action, as well as the â~mission Impossibleâ(TM) in trying to get his name cleared; Plus a slight of hand or 2 thrown in.
