Movie Ratings and Reviews

The Last Unicorn

Good movie - unicorn fights for forest and discovers life as a human. The characters personalities. dreams and morales are shown well so the watcher can really figure out how to feel.

The Phantom of the Opera

Poor Phantom. He may be a little crazy, but I'd love living in the cave with him, making beautiful music together!

A Tale of Two Cities

A beautiful story of selflessness inspiring others to selflessness.

The Shining
The Shining (1980)
½

This movie really combined real life problems in a horror movie situation.

Over Her Dead Body

This movie was an excellent comedy, but is all the more funny because it would be so easy to want to cause trouble between somebody you love and somebody they are happy with if you had the ability.

The Skin Game

It is strange how easily disputes can happen when people who geniunely like each other get pulled into family or community problems. Once people start getting nasty, people start getting nastier to prove that their opponent is evil just when they both have something each other want.

Serenity
Serenity (2005)
½

The characters, plot, and intricate inter-planetary civilization all combine to make this a movie that works. Their is an odd respect between all the crew of the Firefly even if they seriously feel like they wished each other dead for most of the movie. The ending brings it all together with the characters working together for a common goal - even if most of the time it is simply mutual survival - despite not understanding each other at all for most of the movie.

Watchmen
Watchmen (2009)

Watchmen is the type of movie that shows you reality in all its brutality and unexpected kindness and makes you want to affect change. It has sympathy for a wide range of human characters without having pity. If a bad guy part is protrayed in a way that people will react to the injustice and do something about people treated wrong in real life while at the same time understanding how the most sinister people are still people then it is a great part to play. A bad guy part played effectively is a great way of instigating change. However, playing a good guy and protraying evil things and showing that treating people unfairly for a just cause isn't good.

The Other Boleyn Girl
½

History is personal. This movie takes you to another place in time. Here you see things from a fresh perspective.

28 Weeks Later...
½

This movie is suspenseful and personal in a horrifying new way.

Bewitched
Bewitched (2005)
½

This movie wasn't really that serious, but was still charming and sweet.

Witless Protection

This movie really showed off Larry the Cable Guy's assets! He is starting to get a lot better at acting. There were some really funny moments in this movie. The storyline and characters, along with some adorable animals really made this movie a classic.

The Others
The Others (2001)

Chilling and hauntingly beautiful, this movie touches the soul in a way that I've not seen before.

Sense and Sensibility

The acting is great and the original spirit of the book by Jane Austin is stayed true to with the characters. Alright, I'll admit it, I didn't see the whole thing - I fell asleep. However, I read the book so I know how it ends.

Jumper
Jumper (2008)

Thought-provoking and entertainingly brilliant, this movie is surprisingly revelent to everday life despite it's elements of fantasy. It comes across as believable through the excellent acting and special effects. Action, compelling drama, good characters and a good storyline make this movie spectacular!

Superman Returns
½

Superman Returns is good news for kids with health issues. In it, Superman's kid has asthma and is overall riddled with allergies. However, he still manages to drop a telekinetically drop a piano on a bad guy in the midst of an asthma attack! This goes to show that just because you have physical problems, doesn't mean that you can't be powerful and strong. For Superman's kid to have asthma and allergies will maybe make people stop underestimating people with asthma and allergies.

The Journey of Natty Gann

Compelling and thrilling, this movie is an amazing journey through a part of our past. The lead character really draws the viewer into the movie and you want her to succeed.

Fool's Gold
Fool's Gold (2008)

Witty, fast-paced, and full of comedy while still developing each of the characters, this movie is full of appeal for all types of movie viewers.

Redline
Redline (2007)
½

Not the best acting, but some memorable characters and great car scenes.

Bill & Ted's Most Excellent Collection

I thought it was hlarious to see all this historical characters in our modern world. It's a great way to have fun with history.

Misery
Misery (1990)
½

This movie freaked me out so bad that I had trouble watching it. It is not the kind of scary movie that I can take watching. I'm not sure if that counts as a good recommendation or not.

Look Who's Talking Now
½

I sorta lost interest by the time I saw this part of the series. The only reason it retained any interest was because the first movie was good and the kids & pets were cute.

A.I. Artificial Intelligence

Very touching and kind of sad. Great actors and great story.

The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen

Pretty cool to see all these characters working together.

Jungle 2 Jungle

Touching story-line as well as great comedy!

The Evil Dead
½

Hilarious & Creepy at the same time!

I, Robot
I, Robot (2004)
½

Deep and thought-provoking, Will Smith and the robot made this a memorable movie.

Shaun of the Dead

This movies gives a new perspective on the seemingly overdone zombie theme. What's really funny is, no matter how outrageous a zombie plague might seem, somehow Shaun and the people in this movie don't at first notice anything because they are so wrapped up in habit and attribute the zombie-like symptoms to other things or they don't even notice. Once the uninfected escape, they find many intriguing and unusual practical uses for zombies...

An American Tail - Fievel Goes West
½

Go on an adventure out west! This captures the historical experience of going west from the eyes of mice and other animals. This was a cute and fun movie. The ideas and drawing style are interesting, full of fun, and engaging for all ages!

Spider-Man 2
Spider-Man 2 (2004)

This movie is engaging and somewhat deep. The relationship between Spidey and Mary Jane is struggling and I really felt for them in this movie.

Dr. Dolittle
Dr. Dolittle (1998)
½

A cute and fun movie; great for the whole family. It has some really funny, laugh-out-loud moments.

Spartacus
Spartacus (2004)
½

I am Spartacus! They don't make movies like this anymore. Movies like this were based only on solid acting and good directing. Nowadays, special effects can make an otherwise horrible movie good.

Mutiny on the Bounty
½

There was something so endearing about the romance between the native girl and Christain. Alas, good things never last.

Aladdin
Aladdin (1992)
½

I want a magic carpet.

Mars Attacks!
½

Insanely wierd and funny!

Mr. Wrong
Mr. Wrong (1996)
½

What a great guy, lol. He just won't take no for an answer. Other than that, he's kind of sweet....that makes it all the more scary!

Secret Window
½

This movie was disturbing to the extreme, but it was very entertaining and throught-provoking. All Johnny Depp's character, including this one are so individualised that they seem like real people. This is a great movie.

Spider-Man
Spider-Man (2002)
½

Spiderman has always been a favorite superhero of mine. I love the way he feels about M.J. He seems so out of place and insecure, it's adorable.

Spaced Invaders
½

I loved this movie as a child. Sarcastic aliens are always fun.

X-Men: The Last Stand
½

Disturbing and sad...I think Jean Grey just needed some therapy and she would have been able to control her psychic energies.

A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum
½

A hilarious romp through history, in the same style of Saturday Night Live.

The Pacifier
The Pacifier (2005)
½

It's hilarious to see Vin Diesal take on babysitting! This is his most extreme job of any of the movies, he's made, lol! Gotta love that mallard duck that pops up in random moments. Priceless.

War of the Worlds
½

I cried when the boy went off the join the fight against the aliens - people in the theatre thought someone close to me must have just recently died. Mom, John, and I are like that close little group of three and I guess that would be the end of my world if we got separated.

Happy Feet
Happy Feet (2006)
½

This movie was great - but not what I expected. It was more sad than happy, but the greatest happiness comes when you are happy despite all the bad things in life that happen to you! Go Penguins, Stop Global Warming!

Gone With the Wind
½

I like that Scarlett becomes independent - but Rhett Butler scares me!

House of Wax
House of Wax (2005)

This was definately a creepy movie. You'll never go barefoot again - though shoes wouldn't have really helped the girl in this movie!

The Lion in Winter
½

This movie is dramatic, engaging, and a little sad. So much politics, and so little love. Well, whoever said being royalty was easy was wrong. Somehow, one sees the love shared between the family through all the political scheming. They sure as heck don't act it, though.

20,000 Leagues Under The Sea
½

Oooh, I want to live on the Nautilus! Captian Nemo is intriguing as always and the salior Nick, I think adds a humorous touch. All the characters in this movie are classic, and the storyline is fun and adventurous.

Beauty and the Beast
½

Disney's version improves on the Fairy Tale Classic - Belle as an avid Book Reader is great. My favorite scene is where he shows her the library. The reaction on her face is similar to what I would feel. I love books! All of what I read is mainly on-line, but there is somethng awesome about seeing so many books in one place. Well, the storyline's great as it's always been and Disney adds some depth to it and makes it more accesible for kids. All the characters were cute and lovable in their own way. The storming of the castle was pretty funny when all the enchanted servants attacked the mad villagers! I especially enjoyed seeing that clock slide down the stairwell dramatically.

12 Angry Men (Twelve Angry Men)
½

A compelling movie that demonstrates how one man stood up for his right to have his own opinion on the jury. This movie really makes you think and it is emotional in a way that makes you realize how lucky Americans really are to HAVE the right to go in front of a jury of our peers, instead of some judge simply determining our fortune.

Heidi
Heidi (1937)
½

This is one of the greatest movies ever! Heidi is so sweet and doesn't give anyone a chance to dislike her. I know how she felt about leaving the mountains. Since we have moved to Florida, I've felt the same way.

The Prestige
The Prestige (2006)

This movie sorta had an interesting plot, but it was hard to follow and just didn't make me care.

The Mummy
The Mummy (1932)

I LOVE his eyes! The Mummy has this hypnotic eyes that any girl would fall for, while at the same time being pretty darn creepy. Totally different from the new Mummy movie. This Mummy movie is more eerie and creepy and kinda beautiful in a chilling way.

Troy
Troy (2004)
½

This movie is an amazing view of the history of the Trojan War. Brad Pitt plays Achilles exquisitely. Even though everyone believes in the Gods and prays to them, their is nothing in the movie to indicate the gods actually exist. Thus, it seems a little more like real life; very extraordinary real life, though!

Godzilla
Godzilla (1998)
½

Godzilla in it's purest form, sending everyone screaming and destroying things everywhere. It is beautifull in its simplicity and fun for everyone! Godzilla!

8 Heads in a Duffel Bag

This movie was hilarious and morbid. It takes a very funny idea - two similar looking bags are switched accidently. One happens to have eight heads in it. A regular joe picks up the mafia's bag by mistake and can't seem to get rid of it, no matter what.

Laws of Attraction
½

This movie is sweet, witty, and endearing. When lawyers attract one another, sparks fly! These two could have what it takes to make an unlikely love work! Life will never be boring for them, though.

Are We There Yet?
½

This movie is endearing and heart-warming. I love the way that this guy actually gets to know and care for the kids when he is just being there for them to impress their Mom. When he saves the little boy from asthma, my heart about stopped. What a beautiful movie!

Mr. Deeds
Mr. Deeds (2002)
½

A sweet, heart-warming comedy that shows some good guys DO get ahead, this movie is funny and something all ages can appreciate.

Ghostbusters 2

Though not as good as the original, Ghostbusters 2 is still a classic. There is something so funny and witty about this group of actors together.

Uptown Girls
Uptown Girls (2003)

This movie is cute and warms the heart. The two girls learn from each other and form a very special bond.

Cruel Intentions

This movie is kinda creepy and involves some twisted people. However, it is enjoyable to watch and has an interesting ending.

Rush Hour
Rush Hour (1998)
½

Great movie. Chris Tucker can get annoying, though. However, the way that Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker fail to get along with each other is cute.

Dawn of the Dead

This movie was fascinating, and creepy. There was a nice bit of humor thrown in. Beautiful and Rupugent at the same time, this movie doesn't fail to thrill!

Constantine
Constantine (2005)
½

No amount of special effects can make this movie enjoyable.

Addams Family Values

Love the Addams family, hate this movie. It ruined everything that was good about the Addams family.

X-Men
X-Men (2000)
½

X-Men are always a cool thing to see on the big screen. This movie really showcases the cute, but innocent relationship between Wolverine and Jubilee.

Heathers
Heathers (1988)

This is the creepist movie I have EVER seen! It showes killing in such a casual light. This makes you wonder...

Where the Heart Is

This movie is compelling, straight-forward and endearing. Don't ever feel limited by how you grew up. You don't have to be totally shaped by your environment. Set your standards high, and you might yet reach them!

Clash of the Titans

I love this movie! This movie was something I would look forward to everytime it came on when I was a kid. I still enjoy watching it now and then. What's wrong with claymation? It works for me. This movie is well-done and can outperform most newer computer-animated movies. (Except for the Pixar kind) This is a grand, epic tale of a hero that doesn't fail to entertain! Kids can watch too!

The Majestic
The Majestic (2001)

Surprisingly good acting by Jim Carrey. This movie is uplifting, heartwarming and grand.

The Man Without a Face
½

This is a beautiful and compelling story.

The Big Bounce

This movie was refreshingly different. If you are looking for something original and with good actors, this is it.

Cherry Falls
Cherry Falls (2000)
½

A kind of funny idea but totally bad logic. How does the killer know who is a virgin and who is not?

The Chronicles of Riddick

Some of the graphics were cool, and the action was break-neck, but other than that...

Star Trek - First Contact

This was a pretty good movie, but nothing ground-breaking. If you like sci-fi movies and more particularly Star-Trek, it is definately worth your time.

Man of the House
½

This is sort of a cute movie. It has something for most all age groups.

GoldenEye
GoldenEye (1995)

This is one of the best James Bond movies. Also, the N64 video game based on this movie is magnificent. After all these years, it still stacks up to all the new games; the multiplayer part of it, anyway.

The Godfather
½

This movie was great! It was compelling and realistic with bits of humanity thrown in a brutal tale of survival.

The Godfather, Part II

I really enjoyed this movie, but it tore me up inside. The clips of his father's life leading up to being the godfather was revealing. Towards the end, we learn that being the Godfather permanently changes your life and makes it where you can't trust anyone, even yourself.

Scream 2
Scream 2 (1997)
½

I hate the scream movies. Even though horror movies are what I like best, scream seems stupid and juvenile and lacks much fear at all. The twist at the end is sort of interesting, though.

George of the Jungle

Yeah! Great movie. Watch out for that tree! Tarzan was cool, but you always wondered what would happen if he would run into a tree when swinging on those ropes. The intro song is priceless, as well.

She's All That

This a a surprisingly sweet teen comedy. However, it broke my heart when she cut her hair. Why must they make such dramatic changes when making someone "cool"? All it takes is a little confidence.

Chicago
Chicago (2002)

This was a beautifully done and entertaining movie.

Dodgeball - A True Underdog Story

This movie was kind of funny. It is good to pass time with, but not really meaningful or even that funny. It had it's share of moments, though.

Transporter 2
½

I really like this movie. Jason Statham is a great actor. He tries to be a tough guy, but he has a heart of gold. Nothing can beat the original transporter, though!

Batman Forever

Not the best of the Batman incarnations.

Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events

This was an insanely creepy movie. Jude Law was in it? He is such a good actor I never notice that it is him, he gets so into his roles!

The Cable Guy

This movie was so creepy. Don't expect it to be laugh-out-loud funny because it's not. It doesn't leave you with a good feeling. Just be glad you don't have a "friend" like this.

To Kill A Mockingbird
½

This movie, though dark and disturbing gives me hope that humanity CAN overcome whatever dark times it faces.

His Girl Friday
½

This is a great movie about a girl trying to gain respect in the workplace. Katherine Hepbourne paved the way for us all.

2001 - A Space Travesty
½

A great movie. It was very funny and extremely wierd.

Planet of the Apes
½

This movie makes you really think that human's dominance of the world might be very temporary. Who knows, apes might indeed rule our future.

Night of the Living Dead
½

A Ground-breaking movie - simple zombie movie that chills you to the bones! When I saw it, I was impressed. The film matter-of-factly put a black man in the main role. He was perfect for the role, taking charge of the situation and trying to keep everyone sane. The movie is scary because of the sense of impending doom. Trapped in a house with seemingly nowhere to go, it is easy to panic. Even though the movie is incredibly scary, it has it's moments of ironic, though slightly morbid humor.

An Inconvenient Truth

If only Al Gore spoke this eloquently during the election...Well, he is at his best in this compelling exposure of the truth. He leaves us with a feeling of hope, if only we take the iniative. Each one of us can make a difference!

Night at the Museum

History at at's best and most funny. You never know what to expect next in this one of a kind movie. Learn from your history; you might like it! Entertaining for kids and adults alike.

The Omen
The Omen (1976)

This movie was creepy, without being over-the-top. It gave me nightmares. Few movies do.

Ghost Rider
Ghost Rider (2007)

This movie is GREAT! Nicholas Cage has never been better. I love the old cowboy ghost rider played by Sam Elliot as well. I'll bet Peter Fonda would have loved to have had the main role. Well, he did a great job as the devil. The special effects in the movie are great and their is a lot of humor as well. Dramatic, though-provoking, and heart-warming, this movie never lets you down.

Gridiron Gang

This movie made me cry. The Rock has gotten really good at acting!

Agatha Christie's Murder on the Orient Express
½

Very surprising ending. It'll keep you guessing 'till the end. The storyline is very thought-provoking. It's Agatha Christie at her finest.

Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom
½

Actually scared me as a kind, kinda. Adam made sure to explain how they did all the special effects, lol.

Sabrina
Sabrina (1954)
½

A beautiful romance. Humphrey Bogart is so endearing and lovable. Sabrina brings warmth to the heart with her childlike optimisim and love.

The War of the Roses
½

It's funny what you'll do to get your way in or out of a marriage. The actors really work well together and make this movie really hilarious.

The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring
½

A awe-inspiring accurate portrayal of Lord of the Rings. Great for fans and those new to the series alike.

Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace
½

Erm...not the best Star Wars has to offer. The acting was off (except for Anakin), but the special effects were great!

Left Behind - World at War
½

There is a great Christain love story going between Cloe and Buck (Kirk Cameron). This is an all over enjoyable movie, but it helps if you watch all the Left Behind series in order. Can't stand the mediocre special effects. Still a great movie. The book was really thrilling - full of romance and danger.

Weekend at Bernie's II

What a great sequel to an already great movie. Hilarious in unexpected ways!

Raiders of the Lost Ark
½

Best storyline of a Indiana Jones movie - Love the girl: she weeps as the books are burnt; though she works for the Nazi's her heart breaks at their work. At the end, it is her greed that swallows her up.

Bringing Up Baby
½

Unsuspecting archeologist gets involved chasing baby, a wild cat. Tame though mischievous. Baby causes trouble wherever she goes. To top it all off, a man-eating wild cat escapes at the time baby gets loose.

War and Peace

Audrey Hebourne manages to convey that Natasha loves Pierre, even when her character doesn't yet know it. One of the best things about war and peace is the way that characters are molded in the furnace of war. This movie proved to be very touching and eloquent. Pierre and Natasha were played to the best effect.

Crank
Crank (2006)
½

This is one crazy movie, but somehow is endearing and sweet as well. The ending defies all expectations. Well, at least it did for me!

Haunted Honeymoon

This movie is hilarious in a laugh-out-loud way! Gene Widler has that far off look in his eyes that makes him even more endearing and entertaining as he comes up with those hair-brained schemes of his to right everything!

Swamp Thing
Swamp Thing (1982)

Swamp Thing is an endearing movie. I thought it would be romantic to marry Swamp Thing and live in the Swamps. Somehow this movie has always seemed very romantic to me. In addition, the humor in this movie is cute and funny at the same time. I don't know whether to laugh or say, awwh. Swamp thing has always been endearing to me, ever since childhood.

It's a Wonderful Life

Around the holidays, we all need an unlifting film like this that highlights the need for realising that we may do more good than we'll ever know! An excellent suicide preventing film.

Weekend at Bernie's

What's funnier than attempting to pass off a dead body as alive? Actually succeding! One hilarious thing after another! This is the funniest movie ever!

High Spirits
High Spirits (1988)

Very funny, kinda weird, and very romantic in an unusual way; this movie surprises and delights.

The Ghost and Mrs. Muir

For me, no other romance comes close to this entertaining and heartwarming ghostly romance. Mrs. Muir has the guts to buy a house with a ghost. She is fearless and headstrong. No ghost is going to make her move. Mrs. Muir and her ghost ended up getting along pretty well as time went on in the house by the sea.

Just Like Heaven

What a beautiful movie. A girl haunting a guy's apartment. As they they to unravel the hows and whys, they find out how much they like each other. Too bad they can't touch.

Stephen King's Rose Red

Think haunted house movies are overrated? Think again. This is a really good horror movie. This movie is unsettling and chilling, but it leaves the viewer with hope.

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe
½

A fascinating story with beautiful graphics that are subtle enough to be realistic. I especially liked the wolves which looked real even when talking. One flaw was the portrayal of the ice queen. She was an excellent actor, but the costumes were too over the top and clumsy, which seemed to incumber her acting style. The scenes at the end with the major battles were entertaining and thrilling.

The Incredible Mr. Limpet
½

Surprisingly, this movie is just as fascinating for adults as children. With catchy music and acting that makes this absurb plot believeable, this movie warms the heart. It also gives way to some interesting thought...

Overboard
Overboard (1987)
½

This movie will make you laugh every time that you see it. It is charming and can brighten up the worst of bad moods. Despite the improbable storyline, the love story is believable and charming.

Silent Hill
Silent Hill (2006)
½

This movie is not at all the norm for the horror movie genre. It serves up its share of surprises and is home to a deep storyline that leaves you very sympathetic main characters. This movie ends up being a bit of a tear-jerker.

The Poseidon Adventure
½

Action, Adventure, Mind-bending and Amazing, this movie shows how survival can be achieved even in the most unexpected occurances for which normal people are woefully inadequately prepared.

Life Is Beautiful (La Vita Ť bella)
½

First you fall in love with the character and then you realize he really is an everyday hero, the kind that just is self-sacrificing without making a big deal out of it. No matter how many people attacked him, he stood strong and protected the innocence of his naive son, who thought the concentraction camp was just a game.

Rear Window
Rear Window (1954)
½

I see new things in this movie every time I watch it. Grace Kelley is adorable in the way she can't get over James Stewert.

The Day After Tomorrow
½

I hope this doesn't happen.

The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King
½

A thrilling ending to a great series. Go Gollum!

The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers
½

I love the walking trees. There is lots of action and good battle scenes.

Dragonheart
Dragonheart (1996)
½

Sean Connery is the ultimate dragon in this movie. He plays a dragon who is disillusioned with humans, but nevertheless self-less and true.

The King and I

Between Anna and the King there develops an odd but beautiful relationship of equality and respect. This movie actually made me cry upon more than one occasion. The happy, upbeat beginning leaves one unprepared for the sad ending.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

This movie is a good portrayal of the second book of the series.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone

This movie brings to the big screen all the magic that is Harry Potter.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

The Goblet of Fire was the most engaging book of the series. Though the movie fell short of the other ones, good acting from most characters made up for bad directing.

Storm of the Century

Probably the best horror movie ever, this is creepy on many levels. Is humanity really this bankrupt of human decency?

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade

Out of all the Indiana Jones movies, this is the best! Funny, smart, and a little sad, this adventure tale covers all bases and touches the heart. Not to mention, its darn entertaining!

King Kong
King Kong (2005)

I loved the way Kong's eyes brimmed with emotion in this movie. It made for a much more touching and emotional movie than the primal original movies.

Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl

Unique and splashy, this swashbuckling funny and smart comedy-adventure holds a place in everyone's heart.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

I loved the book, but the movie didn't do it justice. It was good enough, though for a true Harry Potter fan.

Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope

This movie basically sets up the whole Star Wars series. It ends leaving the audience wanting for more.

Left Behind II - Tribulation Force

This movie shows the survivors of the end of the world banding together. Without their new-found faith in God, their souls will perish.

Left Behind - The Movie

It is the end, and those souls not ready have been left behind. The confusion and drama that ensues after the good have been taken away to heaven makes for some quality action and intriuge.

Poseidon
Poseidon (2006)
½

This movie offered the same great storyline as the other poseidon movies. It also offered some charm of its own. However, nothing can compare to the raw emotion of the original.

Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi

This Star Wars movie gives hope that no one is all bad. In each of us lies hope for a new beginning.

Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back

Darth Vador's character is further developed in this movie, as well as Luke's. They both see what each other are made of.

Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones 3D

Attack of the Clones is full of tension of many kinds. All the action seems to be building up for the 3rd movie.

X2: X-Men United

A timeless theme: those who are different being shunned by those who don't understand. It also serves as a warning to make up your own mind and not go along with others who hate.

Arsenic and Old Lace

A delightful romp of a comedy that invokes side-splitting laughter. I was laughing so hard, I had to watch it several times to catch all the jokes! This movie makes you realize how sane your own family is in comparison.
