i couldn't help but watch in fascination at the escalating mind games between the couple which was in part because of their wrong timing in expressing their feelings. to people who say that the characters were unlikable, i would have to retort that the vulnerability demonstrated by Cotillard in her confession of love for Canet to the stranger in the library made her character very appealing and tragic a figure. it was a well thought out and executed production. The musical score was first rate, though "pursuit" was way too short. This movie's a home run for me.
