The Earth will be destroyed in 8 months time. A group of scientists and many civilians help to create a rocket to allow humanity to continue on. Brilliantly made and such a thoughtful, intese film that really makes you think. Recommended for all.

Fantastic 50s science fiction film depicting the true, unthought-out terrors of the nuclear war.

A decent premise, but it seems far too long for what it is, with not much actually happening. There's too many twists and reveals that end up confusing an audience, rather than making them beg for more.

Fantastic performances from the main cast, however, unless you're a huge Lennon fan or very interested in his life, it's not the film for you.

A decent science fiction that makes you wonder what these industries get up to when things don't go their way, however it's not well executed and ends up running far too long with far too many 'coincidences'.
