I thought this film ended in a weird way. It would have ended well enough with the main male character returning. It seemed to more of a comedy as opposed to a a triumphant romance. I thought the film was more serious than that at first. As a comedy, it isn't great.
This is a movie that touched me. I felt like I was and have been Marty. When movies give you a sense of reality that helps you realize past emotions vividly it is great. I empathized with the main character very much. It is a struggle many people go through and the casting and story was realistic. One should not miss this film. I especially had a fondness for old, White New York.
This movie seems like a twist on a Hindi-language movie in which there are two people that get married without knowing each other previous to the marriage.
This was over the top with its vulgarity and graphic imagery. However, the movie is something that confronts many men and may be worth seeing to those who are desensitized to the aforementioned flaws of the movie.
This is a free market oriented movie. Unfortunately, bashing it on Whites like other movies made it politically incorrect. Therefore, I cannot give it four stars.
