Wow. Absolutely stunning, Craig's slipped comfortably into his role as 007, Judi Dench brings a certain intensity to her part as M, and Javier Bardem? A far cry from his character in No Country For Old Men, but still an intimidating force. The film is beautifully shot, and the action is spread apart enough to actually have a fully fleshed out story. Sam Mendes and the writing staff have done for Bond what Nolan and Co. did for Batman, and set the bar higher for the series going on from the 50th anniversary.
Well, it's not as good as Casino Royale. But, that was going to be difficult to top. In this installment, the focus is more on the action, but the character development is still there. The movie is well paced, but needed to be extended to fully flesh out the plot and characters. A great thrill ride, It's definitely a Bond movie for the new era.
