Horror Movies rule!!!!! Especially Asian ones or the older or crappier made American ones. Comedies, action, and drama movies are ok. Or Psychological movies, I love them too. Comedy is probably my least favorite. Stuffs just not funny in movies anymore. Family movies I am quickly finding to be more and more entertaining. Yes I do give a lot of movies high rating, but I have a very hard time hating any movie. I just appreciate it for what it is. I try to enjoy all genres. I also love cartoons and kid's shows like on Cartoon Network. Anime is pretty good sometimes but it has to be extremely weird and unique. TV shows are going down hill in my book but I enjoy Farscape, Breaking Bad, Dollhouse Firefly, Invander Zim, Full Metal Alchemist, Dr. Who, and the like. Besides movies, music is awesome. I prefer rock such as Mushroomhead, Staind, AFI, Tool, Disturbed, System of a Down, Motograter, Rob Zombie, Modest Mouse, Static-x, etc. But I'll listen to almost anything. Also love Video games, weird ones are awesome (Oddworld, Whiplash), some shooters (Doom, Gears of War (1 not 2), Army of Two), and also survival horror (Silent Hill, Resident Evil). Xbox fanboy. And in case you haven't figured it out I love zombies. Also I really want a Siamese Cat, that would be awesome.

Movie Ratings and Reviews

Django Unchained

It was so well made for the most part then the "Tarantino" scenes and effects showed up randomly and without need and ripped me out of the movie. 'Its a serious moment, add a wacky zoom.' 'This gun fight need a surprise explosion.'

I came so close to liking another western.

Pompeii (2014)

Exactly what I expect.
The gci started to look pretty green screen towards the end.

Silver Linings Playbook

There is no way the dad isn't the most insane. He's crazy even by crazy sports fan standards.

Violet & Daisy

I watched it because I wanted more Hanna. I loved it for the wonderful acting and great story that has my favorite combination of over the top violence mixed with so many emotions.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire

That was one of the truest adaptations I've seen and the world looked like I pictured it.

The Host
The Host (2013)

It is a pretty good scifi movie. And if it didn't have the pointless forced love triangle stuff it could hold up as an emotional version of the classic body snatcher movies.

Carrie (2013)

Almost scene for scene, still good.

World War Z
World War Z (2013)

That was WWZ? Why did they make the trailers so painful to watch. Once I saw it wasn't just all bad CGI I quite enjoyed it.

Kick-Ass 2
Kick-Ass 2 (2013)

A lot like the first but more blood and gratuitous violence.

Vs (2013)

Some of the early fighting and hero work is iffy but if you can make it passed round one it is worth it.

V/H/S (2012)

Loved the first story and the last one scarred me the most. I'm not so sure about the rest.

Juno (2007)

Ok I don't see the hype. Sure it was an awkward comedy movie, but it mainly felt like a smart persons Napoleon Dynamite. I did love the actors though.

Silent Hill: Revelation

A few overly cheesy parts and it would make nearly no sense without the first movie but it was nice and creepy.

Silent Hill
Silent Hill (2006)

Awesome just wish I could find the video game somewhere so I could compare better.

T˘ky˘ Zankoku Keisatsu (Tokyo Gore Police)

Well I loved Machine Girl so I had to check this out.

Some of the mutilations were a bit much, but I liked the story and there were some cool mutants. And the amputee with the gas mask and the katana legs was one of the most b/a characters ever made.

Probably grindhouse at it's best.

Ned Kelly
Ned Kelly (2003)

I wanted to see this for so long I was afraid I might end up not liking it in the end. But of course in the end I loved everything about it.

I love the story of Ned Kelly. Before watching this movie I read up on some of the history, but seeing it played out like this was the best way I can think of to learn the story.

The Uninvited
The Uninvited (2009)

Putting A Tale of Two Sisters aside this was much better than I thought it would be. Probably one of the better remakes out there because it doesn't completely redo the original. It follows a bit different of a story line.

It's doesn't pull off the twist as well as the original and it felt like it was made simpler than the original.

The Last Airbender

Well im not sure what it was but this movie wasn't very good. The show was fun and took its self just serious enough to move the story. In this movie either everyone was taking it to serious or they were over acting.

I dont think anyone that worked on this movie has seen the whole show. Names were mispronounced, the martial arts werent syncing up with the bending how they were supposed to, and there where horrible plot holes.

If i didnt love the show so much I would rate this lower.

The Expendables

Just what you think it is.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

So-so. I kinda confused me with jumping right from one thing to another. And it went at a very slow pace. I'm also wondering what the point of that Asian girl was she didn't seems to have much of a part but had an important role.

Now I haven't even opened a HP book and don't plan on it so I guess maybe that's why I didn't really get into it. Hermione and Ron seemed to be very important in this movie and it didn't seem right just having them stand around in the background. But it was pretty good, the actress playing Luna was good and a bit creepy, the evil teacher was irritating but crazy people are always fun, and Harry finally got a kiss (at least I think it was his first).

Resident Evil: Extinction

It Owned. Watching this made my summer. Could have worked harder on the "boss" though.

The Dark Knight

I felt I needed to see it cause Batman was my hero as a kid (I still have the toys to prove it). I knew I would look for flaws, super hyped are never as good as they are made out to be.

First off. Thanks for the Scarecrow cameo. But he's not a drug dealer he is a twisted psychiatrist. The joker was good. He was all about the anarchy and loved to twist things around and play games that can't be won. Dent was awesome too, though I liked the more comical one from Batman Forever.

Next I think we need Harley Quinn and Riddler. And of course more Scarecrow.

Ghost Rider
Ghost Rider (2007)

I remember as a kid everyone liked Batman or Spiderman, but I was the one with all the Ghost Rider action figures. So I'm glade they made a movie about it, though I think the Skull animation could have been a little better.

Kick-Ass (2010)

My favorite movie of the year and probably one of my favorite of all time.

Centurion (2010)

I still don't know which side I should have voted for.

Super 8
Super 8 (2011)

It had a very Hollywood ending but good none the less.

Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End

Finished the films off nice and left room for the sequal.

Toy Story 3
Toy Story 3 (2010)

It was quite similar to 2 in my opinion.

The Lovely Bones

Good looking movie, but the ending left something to be desired.

Hanna (2011)

It was exactly what I expected and wanted.

True Grit
True Grit (2010)

It was a great movie, until the last 5 minutes.

Let Me In
Let Me In (2010)

Some parts were better some worse but it was almost scene for scene a direct remake.

Resident Evil: Afterlife

Except the opening 15 minutes its my second favorite.

Repo! The Genetic Opera

They definitely need to make that prequel and sequel they were planning on.

Operation: Endgame

I was really expecting a comedy from what the trailer showed, but i was happy with this violent action movie. And the more I watch it the more I like it.

Inception (2010)

Well it lived up to its hype. The only problem was I didnt get fully attached to the characters.

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse

The part that had the most potential they ended almost before it began. The new young vampires terrorizing a city would make a good movie. The main story is way to forced.

Also i never saw the first two but this is the definition of a movie for girls ages 12-17, but my midnight opening ticket was free so its all good.

Ju-on 2 (Ju-on: The Grudge 2)

Much much better than the remake. And it atleast felt longer though I don't know if it acctually is.

It fallows the life and death of of every person that comes into contact with the grudge house.

9 (2009)

I you're going to watch it just watch the Short. It's 10 times better.
