Bio:
It is summer! And I am going to be a house manager, a reader, a theatergoer, a movie watcher, a music downloader, a writer, an actor, a son, a brother, an uncle, a pet owner and a friend. I am already working on my thesis (This is Our Youth) which I will be performing in late August. I waste too much time learning useless movie trivia, day-dreaming and reading plays I will never perform in. My favorite playwrights are Edward Albee, Richard Greenberg, Nilo Cruz, Neil LaBute and Kenneth Lonergan. My favorite plays are Equus and Last 5 Years. I don't sleep well at night, but still manage to have a good time during the day. I heard a theory in a short story by Gabriel Garcia Marquez that insomnia occurs when the noise of the stars disturbs earth-dwellers. Interesting and beautifully stated. I love humor. I enjoy laughing. It is very easy to make me laugh because I'm very ticklish. But other than that, I like to watch standup comedy and wish that I could write my own. Other random things about me: I enjoy reading contemporary realism and non-linear plots; I'm terrified of heights; Law & Order keeps me from doing my homework for hours at a time; the theme of disillusionment and fraternal characters usually are present in my favorite writings; I'm bilingual; I love hot showers; I follow the Academy Award race every year; I also can't wait to read the final Harry Potter book!; and I can't believe that Hugh Laurie (House) is British.
