    The Lost Boys (1987)

This is a good movie. It's funny and it's scary. The music is good. It's a modern day vampire movie. Of course if a group of vampires were killing that many people in a resort town you'd think the tourist would quit coming. The movie was made in the 1980's so the character's wear some ugly clothes that real people in the 1980's never wore. I never understood that about movies in the 1980's. They kept trying to make a fashion statement but the public wasn't buying it. That's why I liked the Grandpa character in the movie. He was old school. I liked his blue and white Ford convertible. It reminded me of my Dad's old 1956 pink and white Ford Fairlane. Grandpa had all the good lines. "We got rules around here." Or, "Did you know the rule about filling up the car with gas after you drive it?" "No Grandpa." "Well, now you do."
