    Swordfish (2001)

This is an action movie based on computer hacking and international terrorism. It's a high paced movie with a confusing plot. It's the first movie with a topless Halle Berry at just one point in the movie. It was enough to get the move an "R" rating. Without it, it would be a PG-13 movie. At the first of the movie it has the hero hacking into a government computer in 60 seconds. That's not physically possible. Computers aren't that fast and humans are even slower. If you write a computer program to hack a password it would still take hours to run. The DVD has several alternate endings. The movie is still just a series of explosions, gunfights and fistfights. Lots of dead bodies. Even though the movie was made in 2001 the computer hardware and the cell phones used in the movie are already outdate. It was also made before the 9/11 attacks. So the premise of the movie is both prophetic and outdated. The back story of government computer spying is back in the news due to current events.
