A light, romantic comedy. Not really a great movie, even for a "rom com." Antonio Banderas pulled his weight a bit and was an appreciated addition to the movie. Super light and not believable/improbable. Basically a "bad movie."

This is a really solid movie. There are many fight movies and of course they usually involve the protagonist winning, which is the case here, but this is really convincing and has some other interesting elements. The family aspect, a tragic Iraq backstory, and other factors make it a movie that stands above many. One of the best movies out right now. Recommended.

This movie has some charm and is watchable. It reminded me of American Movie in some ways. I think I'll just leave it at that. Not bad if you get a chance to watch it.

I wanted to like this movie but it's not very good. It's a bunch of piecemeal ideas without any depth, and the juxtaposition between the smarmy plot and the historical reality is pretty discomforting. This movie is nowhere near what it could have or should have been. Not really recommended. As a big movie enthusiast I saw it but I not know that it's not really necessary.

Solid movie. I am not even a big baseball fan but there was a great story here. Lots of interest is maintained in the characters, statistics, approach to the game, and ultimately believing in something and trying a little different way to do it. Recommended.
