I can't say It was great, I can't say it was terrible, but I can say it has a scene in which Richard Roundtree is killed by a giant bird/lizard monster and then a guy in mime makeup looks really sad. I did like all the scenes with the monster though, the giant puppet stuff was funny, and the stop motion was pretty terrible in a good way.
