    Marie Antoinette

    Marie Antoinette (1938)

Outstanding costumes, acting, setting, and story. The main actress was so good, she deserves an oscar. I really liked the romance story so romantic-worth to watch just for that. That guy looked like a Clooney back then and omg the scripting was so good for his love lines to her. I particularly liked the first half a lot but my only complaint was it did move a little slow towards the end. I kind of would've liked to see her say something to that terrible lady after the king died. I'm not sure King Louis XVI was autistic, but they certainly portrayed him as such in this. From what I recall he just had erectile dysfunction, not autism but I could be wrong. One of the better old movies. "everything leads me to thee." "perhaps the great loves come with tears."
