    Grand Prix (1966)

I love old Formula One racing, and this movie is a series of character vignettes that are well edited into a series of races that makes them all the more exciting. It feels as if they are creating a real world of racing and you can't help but become a fan. The end is genuinely shocking yet altogether predictable. It also helps that it's got an all-star international cast, highlighted, in particular, by James Garner, Yves Montand, and Toshiro Mifune.
