    Seven Psychopaths

    Seven Psychopaths (2012)

A film with little in the way of plot but so many zany characters and bizarre scenes that you can't help but enjoy it. McDonagh uses the subject of 'writers block' to connect a disparate group of characters together; it just so happens that most of this group are psychopaths! After 'In Bruges' I was hoping for another brilliant performance from Farrell but he is merely the straight man here to everyone else. However since the rest of the cast includes Walken, Rockwell and Harrelson at their crazy best who am I to complain? It's really best to go into this film with as little knowledge as possible and just enjoy the ride. If you liked 'In Bruges' you shouldn't be disappointed.
