While a solid effort, it still is not the best Disney has done. Comparing it to Lion King or Beauty and the Beast is definitely pushing it. The soundtrack is good, and the songs performed well are the best parts of this. Josh Gad as Olaf is perfect as his voice adds to the comedic relief fun of his character. It was nice seeing a sidekick/comedic relief character being more than just someone tagging along. The animation is top notch, and the design is great. At times this felt like a romantic comedy for grown ups, which was interesting. I didn't quite understand the use of the trolls. They seemed to be an important part at the beginning and then showed up for a near pointless number at the end. I enjoyed it, but it is not the perfect Disney animated film many seem to be cheering it as.
