A nice little mom/son road trip movie with a few funny and heart felt moments. Overall though Rogen keeps the movie from falling completely flat. Worth a rent.

Overall an average scifi flick with nothing really new to offer but some amazing visuals. The first half of the film is pretty impressive. We learn that earth has been ravaged by a war with aliens. We won the war but all of humanity has fled to one of Saturn's moons and all that is left is a team of humans to help the drones with cleanup and sea water retrieval. An interesting setting but about half way through the movie starts to become overly complicated and starts to borrow too much from other scifi movies. On top of that there is no real character development beyond Cruise's Jack. Its worth a watch at least once for the stellar visuals if nothing else. I can definitely see myself picking up this bluray in the discount bin later on in the year.

It's nowhere near as bad as the critics say. Its actually a quite good family movie with a great story and some truly hilarious moments. Billy Crystal is really funny! Definitely worth a watch at least once.
