This is just one of those films, that at first seems to be centered around a small and insignificant focus of morals..like the neglect this nursing home resident recieves from her drug addicted son. But what its really about is the ease with which a relationshiop can become convoluted- even when it hasn't been touched in years, and this is what makes this film absolutely striking. Old people are pretty cute.
