Not the Great Gatsby, but the very good Gatsby. Loved the story, how it looked, the things it said about society at the time, at a time not so different to now despite been almost a century ago. Seemed to lose it's way a bit at the end though before finishing magnificently. Brilliant quote at the end though "The lawn and drive had been crowded with the faces of those who guessed at his corruption - and he had stood on those steps, concealing his incorruptible dream, as he waved them goodbye".

Blatant rip off of Battle Royale, surprised they had the nerve to do this, but it's not bad. I'd have preferred it if the background story had been better explained.

Don't know why it was held in such high regard by critics, stupid story, perhaps I'm missing something

It's OK, but despite all the different characters and faces it's Cohen doing what Cohen does

staggeringly stupid, cobbled together rip off, of a number of films, transformers, predator etc. No idea how or why they stretched this out to almost 2 hours and I know this is science fiction, but it's science fact a decommissioned battleship couldn't go from museum to combat vessel in this time and why would it still have ammo or fuel on board. Battlesh*t
