Oh No! Shaky camera. Let's all complain about the shaky camera. Or, we could talk about just how incredible this film really was. The story is told through the lens of a home video camera and to be able to get that look and keep the special effects in perfect sync with the situation is brilliant. The story was entertaining and creepy and funny and intense. I am trying to remember if I really actually breathed at all watching this movie. Is it Godzilla? A giant whale? A....lion? Really, people actually believed that it might be a lion? It's a mutated Thundercat. This creature is reminiscent of...well...nothing. It is huge and unrelenting. Great movie!
Oh Holy Crap! Christmas release date? Really? This was such a feel-good movie, I can see why they would release it on Christmas. Humans we don't care about needlessly dying. A Predalien that we see in glimpses so for all we know it was just a Rastafarian in a body suit. Fight scenes that don't even rank with the WWE. There was one line in the movie that the producers and studio and writers and directors and everyone involved in this 'movie' should have taken to heart: 'You're too stupid to talk. Shut up.'
