Brendan's Review of Lincoln

    Lincoln (2012)

Worth watching, in part just to support a major release with some depth, but also b/c it's a well-told story about the complexities of the presidency and the lesser-known legislative fight required to finally end slavery. Lincoln apparently had a good sense of humor, which also comes through (though Spielberg may have played it up some).

Oddly it's one of the few that seems like it could use one or two sequels/prequels, but it probably won't happen (for some reason the money goes into endless versions of Spiderman, Bond, etc.).
