    Killing Season (2013)

(2 1/2 Stars) How the times have changed... do you feel like Killing Season would have been the hottest film of 1995? John Travolta and Robert De Niro... this could have felt like Heat, but it's a less bad version of Righteous Kill. I'm not saying Killing Season is a bad movie, but I didn't really feel anything one way or another about it. At best, it's "kind of tense," but not really suspenseful.

The whole reason to see it is the two lead actors and the humorous ways they torture each other. Travolta isn't ridiculous with his accent (thank God), but it seems like Robert De Niro feels like he's too old for this s**t. Killing Season might be worth a rental if you like the leads.
